My third and final look of this season’s London Fashion Week – I stayed in London Thursday this time so only had 3 days on the cobbles. None of my outfits were overly formal, but I don’t really believe in dressing up to excess for days which involve far more running around than your average weekend. The focal point here are these incredible vintage suede shorts (nay, Lederhosen) which I was instantly drawn to when browsing the rails in Cow Manchester. They’re a really unique piece and the striking colours are fab, plus they nail the 70s / suede trend. I paired them with a sleeveless knit, grey denim jacket and go-to Clarks x Orla 60s style boots.

Day 2 of London Fashion Week, the Saturday, was when I chose to embrace the 70s trend a little. It was everywhere on the Friday (as I thought it might be) but, thankfully, I didn’t find myself getting sick of it and everyone looked incredible. I wore a BooHoo outfit for a shoot and Instagram takeover with some of my favourite bloggers with brightly-coloured hair (more on that to follow) consisting of a really cool loose fitting blouse with thin black stripes, and tan faux suede a-line mini, paired with thigh high suede boots. On top I wore my longline denim shirt/jacket/dress thing from Cow vintage, and (although once again I would have liked to forgo the coat, weather did not permit) my favourite teddy coat which turned out by happy coincidence to look quite cool with a matching H&M backpack. How great are these photos by Oscar, too?

September Style Crushes

September Style Crushes
I cannot believe another month has gone by already. I am still loving putting together Style Crushes posts, but they are really making me panic about how fast time is flying. As September was fashion week month, I was not short of inspiration – you can find lots more of it in my LFW posts. Here is just a fraction of the blogger outfits from the past 30 days that I have loved:
Zoe – zoelondon
My first style crush of this month is the blue haired babe that is Zoe of zoelondon. I love this sleek all black look with the massive colour pop from a quirky vintage cardi, and cute 90s choker to keep things very ‘zoelondon’. 
Charissa – charissarae

Charissa is officially the second person to have featured in my monthly style crushes post twice! I couldn’t not include this look after spotting it yesterday as I was starting to write up this post. This is a silhouette I’m really loving at the moment, and Charissa does it so well.

Emily – emilycocklin

I found Emily’s blog through Instagram – hers (@emilycocklin) is one of my faves to follow! I love this laid back ensemble, and the inventiveness of tying the top part of a co-ord around the waist to create cool detail.

Amy – saltandchic
I started following Amy because, like me, she falls into the niche category of law student / fashion blogger. I continued following her because she’s just such a doll! I particularly liked this look of hers this month, I’m still feeling printed palazzo trousers and this pair is styled perfectly. 
Lauren – thegirlwhostolelondon

I had the pleasure of meeting the wonderful Lauren at fashion week this month – the self-titled ‘lovechild of Derek Trotter and Carrie Bradshaw’ (lol) does modern-with-a-vintage-twist so well! None of this particular outfit is actually vintage, but I think the shoes easily could be and I love how they look with the longline dress and duster coat combo. 

Lizzie – shotfromthestreet

Another lady who I was introduced to at fashion week is the gorgeous Lizzie. I admire her minimalist aesthetic so much (along with her taste in shoes), and just had to include this look featuring the French Connection trousers that I’m still lusting over in my Style Crushes post.  
Sarah – thatpommiegirl

Sarah has gone from strength to strength in recent months. In case you’ve been on a different planet, her Instagram (@sarahhashcroft) is absolutely huge now, and with good reason – she is such a sweetie! I loved this look from fashion week, definitely a refreshing change from Sarah’s go-to pastels, and she really pulls it off. I particularly like the matching red lips and shoes!
